Apologies for my absence. Some of us have lives (that's a hint to my pet Troll). I've also been having technical problems with Blogger. They have still not been sorted. What are "HTML errors"?
Computers drive me crazy.
Still, It's good to be back.

any update on the court case?
It is scheduled for the 24th of March.
It should have happened on the 16th of January, but the defendant and his witnesses did not show. Very odd. The magistrate was, understandably, furious.
Because the case is ongoing there is little I can say other than that the defendant and his partner do not appear to have moved into my estate despite suggestions to the contrary.
I should also say that Blogger is still not working right. You may have to struggle with it.
Still downloading porn Alfred?
Good to see you back, been missing the blog! A x
The legacy of the Holylands is TOLERANCE, i don't know who started the tit for tat thing, if it was a tiny minority of ignorant students/relatives of landlords/outsiders who initiated the trouble, and provoked retaliation from the residents/students which spiralled out of control due to continual sleep deprivation and alcohol consumption. But with only a handful of unlucky residents left, that battle for the holylands is lost.
The holylands is now a predominantly Student area, its time to step back, leave the mantle to young people, and students to look after, police and manage their own area and themselves, most of them aren't that bad, and to support them against exploitation by landlords and the authortities.
One thing the holylands was always reknowned for was its tolerance, tolerance of republicans, loyalists, punks, students and ethnic minorities. All were welcome, and lived side by side in the good old days of the 1980s-1990s, maybe this legacy can be passed onto students if they ever get to become its more permanent residents.
In light of recent events I'm afraid the tolerance thing has become rather previous. And Denial, as they say, is not a river in Africa.
I should never have spoken out for students. It's the worst decision I ever made.
Now I know what they're really like. Now the world knows. It's been a long time coming.
